Shipping and Delivery Policy
Siesta Hammocks can ship to virtually any address in mainland Australia inc. Tasmania, unfortunately, outlying islands off the mainland may incur extra charges.
Note that there are restrictions on some products. Our free shipping offer delivers to most areas right around Australia but for some regional areas the transport companies may note transport company for delivery to your door may incur extra charges.
When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and as a general rule, we make every effort to have all orders delivered within 2-7 working days from date of the order depending on your location within Australia and the product purchased.
Home Deliveries For the convenience and security of our customers:

No Signature Required: All home deliveries are completed without the need for a signature, unless otherwise specified by the customer.

Special Instructions: If you have specific delivery preferences or require a signature upon delivery, please ensure you provide these instructions during the checkout process. There will be a designated notes section on the cart page for this purpose. We will do our best to accommodate all such requests.

Additional shipping charges apply to some items of unusual size or weight. If the surcharge applies to your order, you'll see the charge appear on the drop-down menu of a product page or in the checkout page. If you're unable to see the freight quote after you placed the order, we'll contact you for additional surcharge that quoted by our courier if applicable.
We offer fast shipping on most items across metro areas Australia-wide. However, due to the nature of certain products or delivery locations, some orders may incur a surcharge.
Freight costs depend on a few key factors:
- The item’s size, weight, or fragility
- The delivery location, especially if it’s outside standard metro zones
- The type of service required, such as special handling or faster delivery
If your order falls outside our standard free shipping policy, we’ll contact you with a freight quote after checkout. We always aim to find the most cost-effective and reliable carrier to get your order to you safely.

If the item can not be delivered to the address or our courier provided a freight quote, but you still place the order with us, we will contact you through email with the extra shipping fee after the order is paid. You will need to pay the extra fee to get the order delivered. Those orders with no shipment service or decline to pay for the extra shipping, will be canceled and refunded automatically with email notification.
Change of mind request procedure
- You must consult with us about any change of mind refund request. Please do not return the product to us without our prior consultation. If no consultation has occurred, a refund will not be provided.
- Please send a message via admin@siestahammocks.com.au or chat with us on the website and provide us with the pictures or video (or an acceptable quality) that shows the condition of the received product and an explanation about why the customers would like to return the product, and if the item is eligible for a refund.
- We require that returns due to a change of mind are done at the customer's arrangement.
- If a change of mind request is accepted, and:
- you have been provided with the return address, we will refund the item price minus return postage and a restocking fee of 10% of the item price and the shipping fee; or
- you have not been provided with the return address, we will refund the item price minus a restocking fee of 10% of the item price and the shipping fee; and/or
- the customer changes their mind before the item is received and requires the action of Return to Sender (RTS), we will refund the item price and the shipping fee minus a restocking fee of 10% of the item price and the shipping fee. Refund for RTS will be provided after the item is received at our/supplier warehouse facility.
For customers availed the Product Protection Plan:
For your convenience and complete peace of mind, we offer Purchase Protection (for a small fee of 6% of the total order price during checkout. In the event you make a claim on your Purchase Protection, the cost of the Purchase Protection is non-refundable.)

Refund Guarantee
A refund to your original method of payment if you change your mind. If you don’t have Purchase Protection we offer a store credit rather than a refund for a change of mind.
Extended Returns
If you change your mind, you may return your order to us within 60 days of the date you received it, no questions asked, subject to other terms of our Returns Policy. Our standard change of mind return time frame is 30 days.
Rapid Replacement
If we agree you need a replacement product, we’ll send it straight away, even before we’ve received the first item back.
We reserve the right to refuse claims under our Purchase Protection policy in circumstances where we believe that claim is invalid.
Refund Guarantee
Normally, if you change your mind, we'll give you a store credit. However, if you've included Purchase Protection at checkout, and you change your mind, we'll provide a refund to your original method of payment. Our Refund Guarantee is subject to the terms and conditions applicable to 'RETURNS'. Please note that some items are specifically excluded from all change of mind returns.
Cancellations
You may cancel an order, or part thereof, only before an order reaches the dispatch processing stage, in this case, you will receive a store credit voucher or refund in the amount you paid for the product, including shipping. After an order, or part thereof, reaches the dispatch processing stage, cancellations or changes may not be possible. As we endeavour to send your order to you as soon as possible, which often will be within 24 hours, requests for cancellations need to be lodged as soon as practicable after ordering. Once items have shipped, you cannot cancel them. Products described as 'made to order' cannot be canceled. Please be advised, for Click & Collect, Next day and Fast Track dispatch items, no cancellations or changes may be possible.
