General Safety Rules
Always place a soft mat underneath the swing. The distance from the ground should never exceed 35cm. Our sensory swings are designed for gentle swinging only, not aggressive pushing. Always tie a double knot through the carabiners to prevent the smooth nylon from slipping.
Finding a Ceiling Joist
Use a stud finder to locate a solid timber joist in your ceiling. If you do not have a stud finder, knocking on the ceiling can help—a solid sound indicates a joist, while a hollow sound means empty space.
Wood Installation (Ceiling Anchor)
Important: Do NOT use the expansion bolts in wood as they will split the timber. Use the provided wood screws. Mark your 4 holes, drill pilot holes to prevent splitting, position the plate, and drive in the screws.
Concrete/Brick Installation (Ceiling Anchor)
Mark the 4 holes and use a hammer drill to create holes wide and deep enough for the sleeve anchors. Vacuum out the dust, position the plate, and tap the sleeve anchors in. Tighten the nuts so the sleeve expands securely into the concrete.

Yes, we recommend hand-washing the nylon fabric and drying it on a low-heat cycle to keep it fresh and stretchy.
