How do I hang a hammock between two trees?
To hang a hammock between two strong trees, wrap a tree strap or rope securely around each trunk and attach the ends to the hammock using carabiners. Aim for 3–4 metres between trees and about 60cm off the ground when weighted. For longer spans, consider using extra-long hammock ropes for flexibility.
Can I use a hammock indoors?
Yes, you can enjoy a hammock indoors by securely installing hooks into a wall or ceiling beam, or by using a hammock stand. Can I leave my hammock outside in the rain?
It depends on the material. Cotton hammocks are best kept indoors or under cover as they can absorb moisture and wear out faster.
Canvas and polyester hammocks, on the other hand, are more resistant to rain, UV, and mildew, making them ideal for year-round outdoor use.
