Swinging isn't just for little kids. This adaptive adult swing seat gives teenagers and adults who need extra stability a safe, supported way to enjoy that easy back-and-forth feeling again. The half bucket design, steel support frame and hand grips help riders feel secure, so they can relax and simply enjoy the swing, whether that's in the backyard, at school or in a group home.
Why You'll Love It
- ✅ Extra Support Where It Counts: A half bucket seat plus a steel support frame and hand grips give riders more stability than a standard swing seat.
- ✅ Sized for Teens & Adults: A roomy 550mm wide seat that holds up to 100kg.
- ✅ Australian-Made & Built Tough: Black rubber with steel inserts and two 1m commercial-grade chains, backed by our 12-month warranty.
Swinging Made Possible for More People
For many teens and adults with disability, a regular swing seat just doesn't offer enough support. This half bucket seat changes that. The curved rubber seat holds the rider securely, the steel support frame adds stability, and the hand grips give them something solid to hold. It means more people can share in the simple joy of swinging, with family and friends nearby. Many families and carers find a supported swing a lovely way to add movement, fresh air and calm moments to the day.
Made for Homes, Schools and Group Settings
This adaptive swing seat is suitable for both backyard and commercial use, which makes it a great fit for schools, group homes, therapy spaces and park settings as well as family homes. It hangs from a sturdy swing frame using the two 1m commercial-grade chains. Make sure your frame is strong enough for adult use and the combined weight of the seat and rider. Care & Safety Instructions
Safe Hanging Setup: Hang the seat only from a strong, stable swing frame rated for adult use, using suitable load-rated swing hangers. Set the seat at a height that makes getting on and off easy and safe for the rider. Leave plenty of clear space around the swing, and place it over a softer surface where possible.
Supervision & Weight: A carer or support person should supervise at all times and help the rider in and out of the seat as needed. Keep the rider's weight at or under 100kg, and start with gentle swinging until the rider feels comfortable.
Regular Checks: Before each use, check the chains, connectors, seat, support frame and hanging hardware for wear, damage or loose fittings. Stop using the swing if anything looks worn or damaged.
Cleaning: Wipe the rubber seat and frame with a damp cloth and mild soapy water, then let it dry.
