Setup & Hanging Steps
- Check that your existing swing frame and hangers are rated for commercial-grade hardware and at least 100 kg.
- Inspect the chains, rubber strap and hardware for any damage before installation.
- Attach the top of each chain to your swing hangers using suitable D-shackles or S-hooks (sold separately).
- Ensure both chains are level and equal in length so the seat sits flat.
- Set the seat height — for younger children, around 35–45 cm off soft ground is a common starting point. Adjust to suit the user.
- Load-test gently before full use by pressing down on the seat with your hands, then with a light adult weight, before letting children play.
- Check all hardware again after the first week of use, then add it to your regular inspection routine.

Safety, Care & Weather Notes
- Do not exceed the 100 kg weight capacity.
- Adult supervision is required for children at all times.
- Mount only to a swing frame or structure rated for commercial swing loads — never to plasterboard, lightweight pergola beams or unrated timber.
- Inspect chains, shackles and the rubber strap weekly during heavy use. Oil moving metal parts regularly.
- Every 1–3 months, conduct an operational check — confirm the construction is stable and replace any excessively worn parts.
- Annually (1–2 times per year), check thoroughly for rust and corrosion and replace components if needed.
- Wipe the rubber seat down with mild soapy water. Avoid harsh solvents.
- Maintenance frequency should increase for coastal locations, areas with air pollution, or very heavy daily use.
