The primary differences lie in the height, footprint, and weight capacity. Kids' frames are generally more compact, making them ideal for smaller bedrooms or playrooms, and support lighter weight limits. Adult or universal frames are built wider and taller to accommodate the full stretch of an adult-sized sensory swing and feature heavy-duty reinforced steel to safely support adult weights.

Our heavy-duty adult and universal sensory frames are engineered to support up to 150kg, making them perfectly safe for teenagers, adults, and therapists to use. Always check the specific product listing for the exact load rating of the frame you are purchasing.

Our frames are designed for therapeutic use, deep pressure therapy, and gentle linear (back-and-forth) swinging. They feature wide bases and non-slip feet to prevent tipping. However, no free-standing A-frame is designed for aggressive, high-arc playground swinging or intense 360-degree spinning, which can cause the frame to lift. Adult supervision is always required for children.

Yes! Our heavy-duty steel frames are powder-coated for durability, meaning they can be set up in a living room, a dedicated sensory space, or out on the patio. If using outdoors, we recommend placing the frame on a flat, level surface and moving it under cover during extreme weather to protect the metal and prolong its lifespan.
